I always laugh in the face of people who ask ticket price for their tickets. They are usually still standing there an hour later after I found the same ticket for $20.

You are still talking about the upcoming PREseason game, right??

I do however think mid-season and beyond, tickets will not be had so cheap on the streets, and you'll have to be real lucky to pay only face value from anyone

Im not trying to be a smart ass, just philosophy in general

If I were buying on the street, I would base my purchase on where I wanted to sit.

    Better seats + higher price.

You may could get good value for club seats, but you are always taking a risk not having tickets before you get there

    To eachhis own:D

    Tickets

That's great that most people on this board get good tickets cheap. I agree that they are not tough to get. Just FYI however, I miss lots of games (regular season and preseason) each year and never ever have a problem selling my tickets (4 upstairs - front row aisle- $24 each) for face value. I almost always sell them the day I let people at my work or my wife's work know they are available. I've done it for several years and NEVER not sold them at face.

Well, all I can say is.....

Gotta travel 3 hrs to see my Panthers....

    so:

    Scenerio #1:

    Gas, supper, snax/drinks= 50 bucks
    Parking $10
Noseblead seats, son can't really see much that great:
Two tx = 40-80 bucks total (one for me, one for my son)
gamble and also worry all the way to CLT that I get decent seats and IF I get seats.....
Total = $130 ave so far....

    Scenerio #2:

    Gas, supper, snax/drinks= 50 bucks
    Parking $10
    Wonderfully great seats(if pay face value= $120)
No worries, looking forward to great seats all the way there.
Get there early, sit on front row, right behind bench, watch them practice, see the player faces, etc., maybe get to talk to a player/ get and autograph or 2.
    Total = $180 tops.

$50 dollar diff, $25 diff for each of us. One and a half hours work for me to make up diff at a job I like.

Son; "daddy what a great game, thanks for the great seats, can I frame this autograph? Mohammed's a nice guy, huh. Did you hear those pads pop? Man, I could feel their footsteps on the ground, and actually hear the QB's cadences! Thanks again daddy, I had a great time...I'll remember this all my life!"

    PRICELESS!!!!

Call me stupid, it's worth it to me.

Thanks for the tix, you know who you are.
