so we're 1-2. We've played two shitty ass games and lost by a total of six points. We beat the pats and made them look as bad as everyone said "they played." delhomme throws three td's and a timely pick (which unfortunatley came at the worst possible time, had it been in the first quarter, nobody would have even cared) yet it's time for weinke to play, or at least bench jake. and, our coaches are being questioned. hope we win three in a row so some of you whiners will have somebody to cheer for.

I guess my only beef today is I am tired of us playing shitty ass games, particularly when the talent on the field would suggest that another result should be in order.

We should have kicked the Saints asses. Home opener, and they had to go through hell to prepare for the game. Aside from all the rah-rah crap, we should have been better prepared to whip their ass, because they might be one of the worst teams in football.

Miami is no slouch, but it's a rookie running back, Gus Frerotte, and a patchwork offensive line. And this defense let them have 27 points.

well, if the fox years have taught us anything, it's that we don't blow people out. other than maybe cincy a few years back, dallas in the playoffs, and the first new orleans game from last year, we've been close in our wins and for the most part close in our losses. unfortunately when you play to run out the clock and eek out a win instead of actually trying to score, you're gonna get burnt. it does suck, but i'm fine with what we've got at this point. other than not turning the dogs loose on defense. we need to do that. it worked last year the second half of the season.

Turnovers cost us both games....that's all....other than that we played good enough to win both games....

I'm not happy with the defensive line not getting more pressure on the QB....but I'd blame that on coaching.

    Here's my thing...

Turnovers happen. But where the hell is the 2002 Panthers defense when you need them. We had NO offense that year. No running game. No passing game. Our pro-bowl kicker sidelined for half the year. Yet, JDR's defense was in the top 5 in total defense, and top five in third down defense.

We need the defense to be stronger all year. Not just some games. All year. Then, you get to call yourself a dominant defense.

Three sacks in three games is just totally unacceptable, especially considering the number of pass plays run against us (101 attempts in 3 games-- over 33 attempts per game.)

1 sack per 33 attempts. God awful. I don't care whose fault it is. It's a fucking problem. We are a shitty defense.

If New England had not beaten themselves like we usually do we'd be 0-3.

I won't overcompensate here. We won that game because we stopped the run early and often, and we didn't stall out like the Steelers did last night.

You're right, DD....nothing wrong with losing. And glad to know you're on the wagon, worried about it tipping. Never got on, personally. Just a fan, who has the right to fucking bitch all I want without worrying about the local rosecolors coming in and policing fan etiquette. As for whining? Go fuck yourself. I like whining.

Where are you during the chats? THeres always a cheerleader or two, or math wandering in and giving the ol speech about quitting on the team....you might like it there, bro.
