With Plexaco and Jerry Porter out there
Panthers could cut Moose get a RT and still sign one of those 2 as vet WR
And with Colber &Smith and one of those 2 still have a strong WR core

Porter turned down a 5 year deal worth $25 million and I suspect Buress is expecting to be paid well on up the scale as well. If we are going to spend that kind of coinage, I would rather keep Moose even for a little more. He already knows the system including the other players.

I wouldn't be too happy with this unless we made some other changes as well. Bringing in a #3 receiver or and #2 with Colbert being the #3. Plus we would have to figure out something with TE, either one of our guys really needs to step up or we need to go and get one. I just can't help but think if we had a good TE and actually used them, that it would help Jake more than anything, well that and the RT.

Jake really needs that safety valve to pass to when he gets in trouble, a TE is perfect for this.

Yep totally agree, unless we can get a comparable or just slightly below Moose type WR and an upgrade at TE.

Just not so sure that can be done.

Curious as to what others think the TOP 5 things are that need to be done for the panthers in the off season. RT would be #1 on my list, problem is after that I have about 9 other things I would like to see, which I don't think there is anyway that can be done.

So I think the top 5 changes would be a better shot, with also the hopes that most of our injured players come back healthy and able to perform. If they can't, then I am not sure where we would be.
