Relentless cheating during the season ever since the arrival of Bellicheat, maybe?

they are geniuses at talent evaluation, and even bigger geniuses at utilizing talent how and where it is best suited. It also helps that FAs come there (and theirs often STAY) for rings instead of bucks.

Well, you mentioned Pro Bowlers in another post so i was just making sure.

In some quick research, since 2000 New England has had five drafted All Pros (vs our five) and one of them was a kicker (Gostkowski).

I know but the original post was about drafted players. JR was all gung ho in his presser about young talent drafted. Looking at the results over the years seems to show they have a problem identifying young talent. Not a good omen for the future if they can't improve in this area.

Yep, typed the wrong thing in the one post.

First post, I listed since 1995 when the Panthers first became a team.

Actually they have had 8 vs. our 5.

Since 1995 they have had 12 vs. our 7.

we are almost exclusively young, and IMO talented. We hit most of our high picks, the last few of which look more iffy, but at slow developing spots. Allpro is effective measurement of the high spots, not of overall performance. We draft well, problem has been trades.

Draft trades without a doubt. Not sure what you are considering high picks, top half of the first round or first 2 or 3 rounds total. I also know we have had some injury issues early on in the career of some top talent over the years that hasn't help a lot.

    Tim Biakabutuka
    Jason Peter
    Dan Morgan
    Thomas Davis

and well these two little gems....

    Kerry Collins
    Rae Carruth

But I would guess other teams have had to deal with some of this as well.

I didn't go back past 2000...mostly because I don't have time. But also because a guy drafted by us in 1995 doesn't really matter to our current situation.

I came up with Gostkowski, Brady, Law, Samuel, and Seymore. There were other all pros (Moss, Welker, Vrabel) but they weren't drafted by the Pats. Who did i miss?
