    The Panthers also have had preliminary contact with Philadelphia Eagles free-agent cornerback Troy Vincent, but no visit has been scheduled.

    In other news, the Panthers are expected to re-sign veteran long snapper Jason Kyle.

    This part, seen by itslef, makes me kinda happy:

    Grant's departure leaves strong safety Mike Minter as the only remaining secondary starter from last season's opening day.

    I mean, I kinda didn't like our secondary.
