    I'm hoping for next year.

Even if we were to make the playoffs, it would be for only one game. I don't care what anyone sez, the o-line sucks and has been, and will be the main cause of every loss.

agree o-line sucks. but mite disagree that our not stopping the run in the first few games mite notta been more of a cause for getting beat.

And in my stocking I want a new O-coordinator and a new D-coordinator; none of this coal shit we've got in our stocking now.

I will split the difference and take the new O-Coordinator first. Henning's offense requires too many things to fit into place just so. We are a team that has to establish the running game and operate perfectly on special teams and the defense must always hold the line. We are not able to absorb bad days from the other units or injuries. Lets get a new young mind who is open to change. Look at the Patriots. Are they a pass team? Are they a run team? It would appear it depends on the given scenario. Wish we operated more like that...

I can always hope that Henning retires, yes. While I think he's better than I first gave him credit for his QB coaching, and eventually he did come around and start throwing the ball more, it seemed only to come with Foster. So what's the deal there - we can't throw more with Davis in? Stupid. We can't give Jake what he needs to succeed with formation and personnel? Stupid.

Jim Skipper's not elite by any means, but add a QBs coach who'll aid him in gameplanning, and put his kid in at RBs coach, and we're doing better, guarantee. But I guess that depends on how often John Fox forces him to call a run on 3rd and long to make us punt.

So are ya'll saying if Charlie Weis is available and Henning retires you'd rather not have Weis?
