    Dunn - the real threat!

Witherspoon will do a good job taking Crumpler away from Vick. The real question should be "Who's going to stop Warrick Dunn?"[IMG]

Witherspoon is the WLB, meaning he lines up on the opposite side of the formation from Crumpler. He'll have some zone responsibilities, but he won't have man responsibilities on Crumpler unless it's in the nickel or something (and even then I doubt it will happen much). But yeah TP, it's a good question. It's strange to me that Crumpler gets open consistent pretty much every week even though people know that he's Vick's only target.

Remember the good old days of our own Crumpler ala Walls? Everyone knew that's where Beurlein was going, yet he still got the ball. Sigh.

    Panthers | McCree Fined
    Fri, 16 Sep 2005 23:38:18 -0700

Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald, reports Carolina Panthers S Marlon McCree (thigh) was fined $5,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct after a hit he gave New Orleans Saints TE Ernie Conwell Week 1.

Why did they wait 11-12 weeks to fine him? That's stupid.
