Yes. But there was still just too much shit to fix in one season. Kugbila might have helped, might not have helped.

    Oh, c'mon.

    Intellectually dishonest. xD

No seriously, I appreciate the post, and I hope to be swayed.

Gross is not the same LT he was a few years ago. He's nearing the end of the road, and if we had a good LT, we should be playing him at RT.

Amini is a division II prospect, and really was rushed to start. Should've been given more time to work into the pros.

Smith and Olsen yes...but we lost Shockey and never replaced him, we've ignored the right side of our line altogether unless you want to somehow count Kugbila. We haven't replaced the lost TE, which obviously hurt us last year.

So since he's come here, we went out and got Olsen, Shockey, and drafted a project out of D2.

Cam has more offensive talent around him than Aaron Rodgers does. Building a team around him is most definitely not the issue. And Tolbert replaced the lost TE, along with more passes to Olsen. In 2011, Olsen + Shockey accounted for 995 receiving yards while Olsen + Tolbert accounted for 1111 in 2012.

Rodgers can't get back on top without a running game.

Cam is not Rodgers, so needs more around him in the first place.

I love the idea that a young Qb's best friend is a running game and defense but if you're going to have the running game it starts up front.

It's been my experience that having best friends is overrated.

Green Bay's starting left tackle is the guy I wanted instead of Kugbila in the 4th round (who went one pick later), and Rodgers was sacked a league leading 51 times last season. Steve Smith is better than any of their receivers and Olsen is a better tight end than Finley.
