    hope he does. Also hope we don't rush him back, but he'll never be that same player even if he does make the field.

    Deshaun came back nicely from the same surgery, right? Of course Deshaun is 10 years younger.

    Imma gonna reserve my judgement for September. If he sees the field, and shows anything- great- it'll be gravy. I don't give a shit about what any media, agent, coach or players says.

    Otherwise Imma gonna go on thinkin there ain't any Sdavis on our team and that we can do it without him. I feel bad for him, but we got the tools to move forward and I'm ok with that.

    Now if he steps up in mini camp and runs, say, a 4.4 forty, hey, he's in like log chain in freds ass. He might be a first. string. even before June.

    Foster has not put enough wear and tear on his knee to guarantee that it will hold up long term. Other parts of him broke too soon.

    Here's hoping. We're paying him, anyway. DAvis, Foster, and Shelton sounds pretty sweet in a Dan Henning offense.

    yeah. It's like hair plugs, if you really want to get simple about it - it's going to cover a spot or two. It's not going to replace bare spots.
    And bare spots in Davis' knee were what caused the swelling, you could assume. The scope to get loose bodies out? Didn't work. Which means it's probably not a spot of cartilage rubbing in the joint, it's bone, if not bone against bone. And that means whatever cartilage is generated, won't have any other cartilage to bond to.

    The scary thing of it? Davis never had a knee injury. This is just wear. Foster's was, at least, a knee injury.

    It sounds like microfracture's going to become an early-career repair for guys who had some early wear. But it's probably never going to help resurrect old careers like Davis' or Swann's.

    He won;t be at mini camp. He won;t run until training camp, if then. Then he'll prolly get the PUP.
