So you're saying we're gonna stick with Moore and Cantwell, and that's it?

Why do you keep saying give up a 2nd? We can just SIGN somebody, I just don't know who. :frown:

just in reference to Vick, that's what the Eagles want for him...

I think we'll have to wait until the draft for a 3rd QB.... or after

We're gonna wait until the Browns release Derek Anderson & then we'll sign him to be our backup QB.

And we're gonna look real good by waiting & not foolishly going after trash like Culpepper, Carr, or Sorgi.

I like him as a panter QB . .. smart enough, shifty enough, accurate enough . . . and cheap. I think he's 5th round tendered, and that's about when we draft a QB that is poorly developed by our staff for a couple o' years (or more) and amounts to nuthin. I would seriously consider forking over a 5th for him . . .

    SHIT, no 5th to give

Looked at the roster lately? Excluding Kasay and Baker the average experience of the remaining 53 players is 2.5 seasons completed.
Don’t know what the league average is but they’ve got to be on the young side and definitely the youngest Fox team so far. Another 15 (give or take) young guys will be brought in and the 53 survivors by week one might be the youngest panthers team ever. Richardson has never taken this approach . . .
Wonder what’s on his mind . .. Super Bowl XLV? Doubt it . .. Selling a younger, cleaned up version of his team in the future? Maybe . . .

The conspiracy theory that pops into my mind is that maybe we're dumping the garbage salaries/old guys, getting our cap to a great place for 2011, where our NEW coach can jump right into his new system.

In reality, though, so far they're all pretty good moves. We just need to get a backup QB, a number 2 receiver, and some depth here and there, and we're ready to go. This team is better than you think.

Agree. And all those guys can be had later on in FA, even after the draft. We have 3 months to fill about 3-4 positions.
