    Given our cap number, even if this is vet minimum (and with four other teams wanting him, that's hard to imagine), this signing makes it a bit less likely the Panthers will match any decent offer Ricky Manning gets from the Bears.

    (not that it was a lock they would have, anyway)

    He played every game, but I haven't seen anything saying that he started every game. I thought that Simoneau started some, but maybe not.

    He started each game. NFL.com's gamebooks confirm it.

    It never sucks to add a guy who has started a whole season at LB, and been fairly productive.

    I couldn't find anything that says otherwise. Everything I look up that states anything, states that he started all 16 games.
