    No we're just friends. You know, there are guys who are secure enough with their sexuality to be friends with other guys. They're called normal people.

    You know, there's a word for people like you that have severe homophobic reactions to everything. It's 'overcompensation' and it strongly suggests that you have had a gay experience either by choice or against your will. Good luck with that.

    there's also the Orwellian counter, where you accuse your opponent of your own misgivings in order to confuse him & put him on the defensive. In football terms, its comparable to the notion that the best defense is a good offense. A current example would be the Tea Party-ers accusing the President of class warfare. If you take out the word 'homophobic' from the first sentence, it's what we have here.
