At the price, perhaps. He definitely had a good game, but still has problems against the run. I still like Hartwig more long-term, and potentially Shaun Williams as well.

he's consistently been (IMO) the best DT the Panthers have had on the field. I haven't seen jenks get that "old" bull rush as often as I have seen 92 in the backfield. granted that isn't the full measure of a DT's worth, but Lewis just seems to be, I guess, more active than 77 and 99 so far.

Today, sure. But over the course of the season? Christ, if you think that then I have to question whether or not you've even watched the other games. Jenkins was outstanding in the first three games of the year, while Lewis only made scattered plays and really stunk it up against Atlanta.

Too early to judge. Kemo hasn't been bad, and the other two guys could come back and help us down the road. I'm not sure we expected Shaun Williams to have an all-pro season, anyway, and we all knew that he's had a history with injuries.

I ain't arguing with you Collin. I never said 77 played poorly. Not at all. I haven't seen as many 77's in the backfield as I did before the knee injury. THAT IN NO WAY MEANS HE IS PLAYING POORLY. As I said in the earlier post, getting into the backfield is not the full measure of a DT's worth.

Just giving 92 some credit for being a nice FA signing (for hich you pointed out--the price).

I'm not riding your ass Mike, but trust me that you're wrong on this. Go look at my pic reviews of the previous games because Jenkins spent more time on their side of the line than he did on ours. He's just not getting sacks, so maybe that's what you're thinking about.

I said he had a good game. I was probably the one pimping him the most when we signed him, because I always thought he was good at shooting gaps. If he could ever learn to use his hands and control contact he might even be a good every down tackle.

Yeah, they are a major bust 4 games into the season. We should cut them now.
