Piddling around some Canes message boards tonight, it looks like 850 THE BUZZ's MIKE SOLARTE is leaving the station and he's moving down here to CLT!!!!! He will be working at the new TIME WARNER NEWS CHANNEL (14) which should go live next month. I wonder if he will be cracking into the PRIMETIME cohosting rotation anytime soon . . .

I was trying to find a younger photo of him from back in his hey day (I saw one in VIBE or some other music magazine) but no luck yet . . . . This one will have to do for now though
