Throw in #8 and you've got a deal.

Chad was on sirius NFL channel today and addressed this and the report from Jay Glazer that he was shopping himself to several teams. He claimed he does not want out and was only kidding but he seemed pissed that it was reported he had approached other teams coaches.

Why would they want one guy we really should force to retire, and another we should cut and who looks old and slow?

Outside of giving up a first rounder, any realistic trade scenario likely has to include Kris Jenkins.

Do we really want to go for either of those ideas?

I heard him on Jim Rome today and he sounded pretty jaded by the whole situation. Would it work here? Probably in the short term. Long term who knows. The pricetag would probably be enough to scare us off, but it of course is slow around this time. My gut says he's not really gonna go anywhere.

Our offense would have some explosive weapons if we had him. Smith and Johnson along with DW who has a lot of big play ability would be formidable. I do not know if the personalities would mesh or not.

As far as a price tag, I would not want to give up a first rounder for him. Maybe a second. I could live with moving Jenkins since he may be gone soon anyway. How about a blockbuster move like Peppers for Johnson and their first round pick?

Getting a player of that level essentially rules out the need to keep Jarrett long term, so it's all the same if you threw him in.
