    Your Charlotte Checkers beat Wheeling 10-3, with 8 goals coming with the man advantage.

    Nice start in front of a decent crowd (not full, but good).

    But 8 PPG?

    Wheeling must be awful, and very undisciplined. I saw the first 5 goals of the game--they took some dumb penalties then.

    There is still talk about bringing in another ECHL team to GSO in the near future. 225 season tickets have been requested whenever they do bring in a team.

    that building is such a cave for hockey though...its almost too big for that level of play....I wouldn't mind seeing a team back there, tho...

    Checklers are starting at 7:30 now, sio the games are gonna normally finish around 10, but Friday ended about 10:15

    I've only been to 1 game at the Bobcats arena, but I wsn't thrilled with it. Beautiful place, but Cricket Arena was a better venue for minor league hockey.
