That's all? Really? Not doubting you, it just seems like every time I hear "False start, offense" I immediately expect it to be followed by "number 69."

Didn't he have something like 4 in the MIN game?

Don't believe so. We had a ton, certainly.
Rewatching the game this week, he had one, the two receivers had one apiece, and King had one. We have had a lot from our TEs and WRs, specifically.

Last year was Gross' false start year. He has been better this year.

According to the game book on nfl.com, Gross had 2, Otah had 2, and yeah, King had 1. Bad day for false starts. I've heard the Metrodome is bad for that, but dang.

Getting ahead of myself, but I'm in no mood to face the Vikings or the Cowboys in the playoffs. Vikings seem to be getting better and we'll see about the Cowboys but they are getting sacks like they are going out of style.

oh. My "rewatching the game" was this week's. Since I hadn't added that to the total. I think the 2 from that game were back to back for Gross.

An aside to the guys who didn't get in - we knew Williams is a 1st alt, and he might get to go after all if things go right. Wharton, Kasay, and Gamble were each 3rd alternates.

    PFW:

There will be no Pro Bowl debut for Panthers C Ryan Kalil in 2009, although he has played like an all-star this season. Missing four games with an ankle injury earlier in the season likely hurt his chances of making the squad, but sources in Carolina say the team is confident it won’t be long before Kalil gets his first of what should be several Pro Bowl nods before his career is complete. In just his second year, and his first as a full-time starter, he has emerged as a tough, athletic force in the middle of what many consider to be among the top offensive lines in the NFC. Only six teams have allowed fewer sacks than Carolina (19), and the team is ranked fourth in rushing. Close observers of club say Kalil is an outgoing leader and is one of the team’s most intelligent players.

since I saw it, I'm going to note here that I've seen a couple places having picked Gross as a Pro Bowler before picks came out (PFW also picked Beason and Gamble).
