Well, that's ten remaining games, and if we split them at 5-5, then that's 9-7 for the season and likely enough for a wild card (though the NFC East is looking about as competitive as the NFC South).

2/3 of DET's points came off INT's returned for TD's/ Carolina dominated them all afternoon long. I give DET credit as their D was better than I anticipated, but still, their offense was horrendous for the most part.

they're active in the back 7, and they're big up front. I think the issue is that we didn't adequately exploit the gap between the two well enough, and it was there for the taking. When we could actually box out their DTs, the ends kicked out and their LBs weren't really run-killers.

We just didn't block them well. They're built solidly, but they can be taken.

I was very encouraged by our defense. We got pressure on the QB and held them to six points. Granted the Lions are not a great offense, especially without the receivers they had injured our suspended but still it was nice to see our pass rush get to someone.

I do not expect 500 sacks per game but I do want more than what we have gotten prior to the Lions game. I liked that we blitzed Morgan, although his six games are up and will have to miss the next six.

    Turnovers, for one.

    Underachieving OL play for another.
