Here are three things I've observed from these padless walk-throughs:

    1) Reddick is working as a strongside linebacker in base defense.

He's lining up "on the ball" outside the TE. Burns lines up opposite side with his hand down. This seems to confirm what the offseason moves implied - that the Panthers will feature more traditional 4-3 looks, specifically, a 4-3 under front.

For more on the under front, here is an excellent read from Inside The Pylon:
    http://insidethepylon.com/football-...-101/2015/11/27/itp-glossary-4-3-under-front/

    2) There is no punter competition.

Charlton kicks a long, high arcing punt. UDFA Oscar Draguicevich kicks line drives with an occasional shank. He's obviously a "camp leg" brought on to give Charlton a rest. Thomas Fletcher appears to be getting most of the long snapper work, for anyone who cares.

    3) The Fullback might have a spot

The coaches are at least giving Mason Stokke a look. I've even seen him running routes out wide. I figure it's a hedge against Tremble getting hurt or not acclimating to a lead fullback role.

    ***Bonus Observation***

Former Ohio State Buckeye C.J. Saunders is fielding quite a few punts, so ostensibly he has a long shot path to an NFL roster spot. It would be the longest of longshots, as Saunders failed a rookie tryout for Atlanta earlier in the offseason. You hardly ever see a third wave UDFA make a roster.

That's what I have, which is more than you'll get from the mainstream. Everything else is fluff.

    I don't do fluff.

My thought with Moton at LT is why the fuck not? It's not irreversible. If his play doesn't translate to the left side, put him back at RT.

Sign him at RT money and move him to left side. A financially sound decision if it happens

I bet Brady Christensen takes some regular season snaps at LT.

This no pad stuff is such a waste. Not sure they can tell anything when they act like the next day is game day and they do nothing but touch each other.

But again, I am old and remember 2 a days.

If Marshall and Christiansen are hits, this looks like a playoff team to me. I don't even think Darnold or the interior offensive line have to be good, per se. There's just too many options for a defense to cover.

If Darnold fixes his decision making, this is a surefire playoff team

I have always been a bigger defensive fan than offense.

I hope our guys on defense eat up Brady and Ryan.
