Foster is starter; we let WW walk, re-sign McCree.

    27. Brodrick Bunkley, DT, FSU
Not ideal pick, IMO, but it's the next need. I don't know that he's special, and we need a special player or else having another pick fight our hangers-on at DT isn't really advantageous. But the only guys I like here are Bunkley, Wright, and I guess Carpenter - but I'm totally unconvinced that we need LB help, WW or not.

    58. Dom Byrd, TE, USC
Gets upfield; gives us a deep threat that's not a WR. Really improves our hands, and is a guy who'll draw attention when he goes in motion.
Has had a problem getting dinged, but we've got depth and put our guys in situational positions.

We've taken an offensive player in the 2nd every year since 2002.

    88. Maurice Stovall, WR, Notre Dame

Big, steady, kinda quick, faster with the ball in his hands and a good complete 2nd WR type threat to compete. Good blocker, tall enough to get under some of Jake's high balls.

Mark Setterstrom would've been a good pick here, but I have to assume that any help we bring in will be of a veteran. We've drafted a first round lineman in the first day each year since 2003.

Pat Watkins reminds me a lot of Merton Hanks here, and if that's what we were after, I'd pick him here. Unfortunately, I don't believe we like the true FS, and we do still have Branch for another year.

    120. Cedric Humes, RB
I don't see him on this list at all. I like Dontrell Moore here, too. Gotta have a big back, not much choice otherwise. Make him into a FB if he sucks, and to be honest, I'm not enamored with him.

"Guy Whimper" is one of the more awful names to come across the draft in a while, even worse than Nick Mang0ld. Tim Day is a damn good value here. So are Bruce Gradkowski and Paul Pinegar at QB, and Jonathan Orr at WR.

    151. Ryan Plackemeyer, P, Wake Forest - gonna keep picking him till we actually do sign Baker.

if McCree walks, we grab a FA DT

    27. Ko Simpson S South Carolina

    58. Nick Mangold C Ohio State

    88. Maurice Stovall WR Notre Dame

    120. David Thomas TE Texas

    151. Mike Bell RB Arizona

If AJ Nicholson has his legal problems behind him, I'd take him at 151 instead. If we re-sign McCree, I'd take Bunkley at 27 over Simpson. I'd stand pat on the rest of my picks.

    27. Brodrick Bunkley, DT, FSU

You'll come around on the pick, mags. He's legit 300. He's strong and can push. Defends run and pass. He's got the special upside.

    58. Dom Byrd, TE, USC

It's either him or Allen, and I'm not sure with Allen's hip if he'll be back. Maybe a guard, but I'll wait. We need a player here.

We've taken an offensive player in the 2nd every year since 2002.

    88. Mark Setterstrom OG 6-3, 318 Minnesota

Strong, big uglies. Keep feeding them.

    120. Nate Salley S 6'3 220 Ohio St.

We need some depth and special teams play, and this guy is an athlete.

    151. Mike Bell RB 6-0, 218 Arizona

    Does nothing great, everything well.

I can't get enough of these games...

assumed re-signed McCree - cut Davis, HHM.

    27. DT Broderick Bunkley: Wanted Watson, but he's gone

    58. OL Chris Spencer: versatile, athletic, player good run blocker can play anywhere on the line.

    88. WR Jason Avant: some WR help.

    120. TE Tim Dey: we need a TE, he fits the mold.

151: RB Cedric Humes: can't believe he is still available.
