    Agreed. The cable companies are a pox on America, and it boggles my mind that they haven't been exposed to legislation. They have local monopolies, which I thought was illegal. At the least it's highly anti-competitive. Just as an illustration, over 90% of South Koreans have high speed internet, the average connection is 5 times faster than the highest commercial connection here and yet costs half as much.

    What pisses ME off is that I had NFL network until my cable company got bought out. Poof! Its gone.

    Rephrase. Its early in the process where the NFL Network has games.

    Agree about the annoyance with the monopoly. However, each municipality reviews its cable choice every so often, and can switch if it thinks its voters want something different. So its not absolute.
