We need linebackers who can cover and another edge rusher at the bare minimum. I also would love to see an upgrade over Nick Scott, but unless we get lucky with Caleb Downs I doubt we get anyone who can step in as a rookie.

Even though the Steelers were trounced in their playoff game, I thought Peyton Wilson would be great as a Panthers' LB. I can understand being scared off because of his college knee injuries, but he was picked 20 some picks after Trevin Wallace. I know he is possibly one knee injury away from possibly being out of pro ball. Then again that is true from a lot of players.
Hindsight is always going to be 20-20.

A lot of us wanted Wilson. At least this is a deep draft for linebackers.

I always say the same thing...go BPA in the draft...unless you're completely stacked at that position.

My wishlist in no specific order:
    -WR: to replace Leggett
-TE: need at least another threat to catch a pass in 11 personnel
-LT: Moton is gonna want paid more than he's worth
    -C/G swingman: quality backup
-QB : Backup plan for now

-DE: Be it depth or pushing someone else to depth
-ILB: Need a starter with a huge brain
-S: Want a hybrid S/OLB...some that can get involved in pressure packages

So you want a RT as well, correct?

I still think there's a starting role in the NFL for Simmons, maybe even at a high level. The Cardinals fucked him by trying to make him a standard 3-4 inside linebacker. He's a safety.
