    I actually think things will be better this season. Can't get much worse so it isn't a high bar, but I'm optimistic that we'll see improvement.

    I still wouldn't be getting rid of Burns.

    It's just us having to replace yet another good player. We only have him that's good there as it is.

    Once you pay him you're going to need to hit a the draft pick opposite him anyways cause he is not going to come with a home town discount and the panthers get to pay the loser tax thanks to the last few years.

    What is the scenario where Burns is designated/tagged somehow where whoever signs him has to give up 2 first round draft picks? Is it the franchise or transitional tag? Resticted FA? I can't remember which one.
