Would be nice if we had a QB and could go LT, but we don't.

I don't see Sam Howell being a great NFL QB but I like this Bo Nix kid

Me too but like you stated. .. Got no LT, and Nix would be another Darnold at best with no protection.
I like what I’ve seen of Ridder. If Cincy keeps winning they make the playoff and I would love to see how he would handle that. He looks like a manly nfl level player to me. If he does keep winning he will be hyped into a range we probably won’t be in so . ..
IF Carolina EVER invested appropriately in O-line whoever was at QB would be eternally better <period>

Tom Brady would have issues here in Carolina. As would any other QB.
Unless you have Lamar Jackson who can run like the wind, we have bigger Oline issues that affect every other part of the game

FA and draft, we need heavy investment

Yep stirs. It amazes me that every single person in this forum knows Carolina has had shit for an O-line for too long now.
Are we that smart, or are they just that stupid??

Darnold had protection when he threw the last INT to the covered guy and not the two wide open guys

I don't like any of the college QBs this year, but there are a few decent Tackle prospects. Unless Darnold continues to shit the bed, I wouldn't be upset at all if we went all Line in the draft and rolled with him another year.

The QB GOAT was drafted in a very late round, so anything is possible. Not probable, mind you, but just possible.
I've already put my vote in for OL overhaul in the draft.
On that blocked punt, the protection had no idea that a stunt was causing an open middle gap when two Panthers tried blocking the same guy.
I wonder how many punts have been blocked in the league so far this season?
Luke is still being terribly missed.
