We're going to dick around and end up with Rashawn Slater and Teddy.

If other teams want to Trubisky, Bortles, and Ponder themselves into repeated not winning super bowls let them.

I guess I'll stick with being the only fan of Parsons at #8.
Maybe try one of the lower tier QBs in the third or 4th.

nah you’re not the only one dig. .. Parsons is viewed by many as the most gifted and instinctual defensive player in this class and in my opinion it would be a huge gift if he fell to #8. To everyone creaming over just any one of four overhyped rook QBs to become the instantaneous franchise and upgrade to TB . ..
Was QB Carolinas most glaring weakness, or did MLB (and LT) not stand out as a standard for gapping rape-hole in almost every single game??? Why is approximately 65% of this fucking country becoming such drooling followers of propaganda? Hopefully the Carolina braintrust will not just blindly follow what is being pushed and dictated by our “experts” and overpaid celebrities.
MUCH more likely than a rook QB hoisting a weak team on his damn back is:
A). A more talented LT and O-line overall helps TB (or ANY vet QB) manage games more efficiently to earn more W’s.
B). A shored up D keeps the Panthers in games, so that TB (or ANY vet QB) doesn’t have to come from behind and be expected to pull games out of his ass 8 or 9 times a year!!!

a receiver could easily be “best player available” at 8.
One thing is certain. .. best player available at 8 will definitely not be a QB.

Because Tepper will tell them to. I would not be surprised if they trade up. They’re not taking Mac Jones though, didn’t bother going to his pro day.
