Hornets pulled it out by 1. Whew...
That was one great comeback and game. Lamello is the real deal.
    Almost a triple/double with 31-9-7 and only 2 TOs.

He'd make a great Lurch for a Addams Family series.

Holy snikees. Hornets beat the Nets by 16 in Brooklyn.
Miles Bridges had his second straight 30+ point scoring output.
I never thought they'd get a win over a Harden/Durant team, but the second half was their friend again.

Did you read about the Kyrie sympathizers crashing the gates before the game started. "We stand with Kyrie". People are too consumed with themselves thinking nothing will happen. Lock them up or fine the piss out of them.

kanter is a great offensive rebounder and good at finesse put-backs around the rim. notoriously porous on defense, tho maybe his reputation is not as bad as reality. he's not a super athlete, but he's not a stiff either -- can get up and down the court as good as most 7 footers. still, there's prolly a reason he's not generally a starter.

Kanter's energy is not totally on his game.
IMHO if a pro player has an outside the sport interest then his world has people in it drawing their attention away from the sport.
Kanter's interest in China/Tibet has the potential to be a major distraction for him as a player and a team contributor.
His interest appears to be more than giving away some signed merchandise.

yeah, i dunno. i mean, everybody has other shit they're doing -- filming commercials, doing public appearances, recording music...

i didn't know much about this china thing, but now i get why stirs asked about him. i thought he was asking about, you know, basketball.

Yeah, that's the reason I said his interest goes above than just giving away some signed merchandise.
Which I rank right there with doing local car lot shots or investing in your own music talent or in someone else's.
Wasting your money on material shit is small time over trying to make an international political statement.

i dunno. i think you're over-estimating how much time guys spend on basketball. not to say you can't be a distraction with political statements, but i wouldn't put it to having a divided focus. he's mulsim and there are other muslim basketball players -- they abide by ramadan and do their prayers 5 times a day. that seems like a bigger time sync than tweeting about the chinese gov't.
