Say the panthers pick around 6th? Im guessing 4-5 wins...Could we see the Kalil Brothers? or would they finallt draft a top DT?

personally, i think that would be too high for a DT. can usually get a good one in top of round 2. the OT seems to be the trendy pick now but i think it would be a bit odd considering who we have already. i'd be more inclined to pick a CB.

From what I've seen the DT pool isn't very deep in next years draft

Correct. HeadCase is completely wrong about where to pick them, as usual. If you want a special player at DT you usually have to pick them high (Suh, Dareus, etc), although you can get lucky in the later rounds like we did with Jenkins in the 2nd. Unfortunately none of those special DTs are in this draft.

A lot of people are going to be on Coples at DE because of the Carolina connection and the need for someone opposite Johnson, but I'm not a big fan of him as a top 5-type pick. Justin Blackmon would fit and is that kind of talent, but is such a selfish headcase that I cringe at the thought. There just isn't any obvious top flight talent in this draft after Luck.

I've been impressed enough with Greg Hardy.

He's been impressive, but I'd like him better as a great backup.

They sound serious about moving to a 3-4, so you'd have to consider that. Can Coples transition to a quality OLB?

No, and I still think the 3-4 thing is one season only experiment driven by all the injuries.

Was just thinking that. And aren't typically, 34 linemen able to be picked up a little later in the rounds, with more prototypical rushers and co. picked earlier?

    Not sure....
