I thought they've also talked up Ryne as a potential slot guy.

maybe he can, but does anybody really really think he's going to be around very long?

To me he's a guy who came on slow to begin with and now is probably set back farther than when he first got here.

He was getting snaps on offense as a rookie, ahead of the franchise destroying bust.

Wouldn't you think Ryne and Jones will play for same roster spot next training camp?

We do not need a middle line backer and he will go early in the first round but I think James Laurainitis will be be good player. Maybe he will get to wear spikes on his shoulder pads?

We need help at DT so I would assume we look there for our first pick.

Maybe Mark Jones could show at wr as long as the opposing team doesn`t put their kicker in coverage.

It really does depend on what FA's we let fly, but I feel we need to think ahead a year or two and grab a CB. That is what I like about this years draft, the Panthers don't really have glaring needs. They could afford to move up or down and zero in on a specific player or players.

I still think we need to bring another DE into the rotation. Brayton/Johnson is a nice combo, adding another versatile guy there would be nice. Hayden is guy I look for to hold a spot at #3 DT, but they'd likely feel that it is the position of greatest need.
