Listening to the local ESPN affiliate, Myrtle Beach, local early evening show.

Mike Hart RB called in, said we were one of around 8 that had expressed interest. FWIW.

Cornerback DeJuan Tribble, safety Jamie Silva, linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar and all-purpose back Andre Callender all have a chance to go in the mid- to late rounds during this weekend.

“It’s a little nerve-wracking. I’m anxious,” Dunbar said yesterday. “I don’t know what to think. I’m happy, but it’s a lot of pressure on you. Your mind is always racing about where you’re going, what’s happening or what’s not happening. It’s stressful, but I’m going to have fun and just hang out with family and friends.”

The 6-foot, 233-pound Dunbar has met individually with the Carolina Panthers in Chestnut Hill as well as with a dozen other teams at BC’s pro day. Dunbar expected to play on special teams wherever he lands.

    Martin Rucker, tight end

The knock on Rucker is his weak blocking, not an emphasis in Gary Pinkel’s spread offense. He is projected to be taken between the third and fifth rounds. Although the Carolina Panthers have shown interest, he won’t have the chance to play with his older brother Mike Rucker, who recently announced his retirement from the Panthers.
