And? No one is arguing that the offense didn't get better. The problem is people like Purrsy pretending that the offense has been great when it's just been average or slightly below.

Well its been great compared to last year lol and if the D and special teams didn\'t suck horribly the panthers would have a winning record...The offense has at least put the team in the potion to win games (Except last week....)

Lofl, holy shit. The offense has not been slightly below average. The team has. And all of its goddamn penalties that drive us out of scoring range, and our FG kicker who can't fucking kick.

I thought I told you to stop being intentionally dense.

the original point was that you said drafting Dareus would've been better for the team over the long haul. And I showed that looking at the overall numbers, Buffalo's defense has regressed, and our offense has dramatically improved. PLease do not pretend otherwise, by mangling the numbers or only looking at certain ones and ignoring the others to well....try and prove you're right by damn near outright lying.

I'm trying not to accuse you of this again, since it's pissed you off.

Cam has improved us overall on that side of the ball.

Dareus has not improved Buffalo overall on that side of the ball.

You're suggesting we draft a kid who missed his meeting with us because he had a headache or was hung over or some shit. Twice. You're suggesting we would've improved more as a team by doing that.

    Um. Justify that shit again?

    19th in points. 19th.

Do what I suggested and do not address my posts at all. That way you don't embarrass yourself and I don't get irritated.

Yeah, that's just not true at all. Dareus has been mentioned by many outlets as having a major impact for the Bills. I'm sure that having their All-Pro nose tackle Kyle Williams on IR has something to do with their defensive statistics not being much improved, not to mention their loses in free agency (Posluszny, etc).

We're obviously dealing in hypotheticals so I can't say that I'm "right" about Dareus being the better pick short and long-term, but there just aren't many opportunities to get a potentially elite DT or even a very good one. Meanwhile guys like Matt Hasselbeck are usually available in free agency, Ryan Mallett didn't get drafted until the third round, and the upcoming draft is loaded with quarterback talent while being extremely thin at DT. Cam has been very impressive to me, I just think the franchise would have been better off with Dareus.

Im sure not having Gettis and A Thrown together O-Line has something to do with the panthers Offensive statistics..and The 4th string Linebackers on defense arent helping that side of the ball either.

What on earth are you babbling about? The same offensive linemen have started every game for the Panthers except at RT, and even there Byron Bell has played pretty well.

The depth of your willingness to delude yourself and restructure reality to protect you from conscious realizations of your own fallibility suggests that you have been deeply mentally and emotionally damaged by such confrontations in the past. You can no longer deal with your mistakes, so your mind pretends that they don't exist.

Not only am I far superior intellectually, but I'm also more honest. I don't spin and I don't pull for things to happen to validate myself. I call things as I see them, and I'm almost always correct as a result.

    Um, no. You're fucking wrong.

    Let me tell you again:

LAST YEAR BUFFALO FINISHED WITH THE 24th OVERALL DEFENSE.

THIS YEAR, THOUGHT IT'S ONLY HALFWAY IN, THEY ARE 29th OVERALL.

Never fucking tell me, when I say he has not improved their overall defense, that I am wrong again. He has not.

I'm not saying he is not having an impact. I like Dareus. He's a fine player, and he had a really good week a bit ago, where they even wrote a fucking story about him. BUt as an overall unit, they are ranked worse now.

This is not the case with Cam fucking Newton, you jughead.

This isn't semantics. This is stone cold fact.
