Honestly, those numbers don't really sound out of the realm of possibility to me.

Most of them are realistic. The 1000 yards from each WR is, the receptions and TDs aren't impressive. The thing that I think would change there is Williams getting 1000 yards and I think the TDs would group a little more evenly.

as of now still holds at the halfway mark - Smith 66/1226/8 TD, Muhammad 74/1014/4 TD

still can't believe Moose dropped such a gimme

    also:
    Williams 240 att/1044 yd/6 TD
    Stewart 192 att/724 yd/10 TD

    Delhomme 3562 yd 18 td/10 int

pass D is gonna look like shit when those rankings come out after this week...almost 400 yards hung on us.

And that's legit yardage too, not a bunch in the 4th when the game was out of reach.

Wish those guys were on Tampa's schedule, and I hope we don't have to see them again in the playoffs. I think they're the best we've played so far.

two teams still have to play so the numbers out of 32 might or might not be relevant today

yeah, 400 yards is tough. It's a good thing the O came to play in the second half (which btw, where's the love for the O? How many times have we scored on four straight posessions in thelast few years - that seems noteworthy) because they moved the ball on us a ton.

I don't even think the D played badly, Arizona is just that potent offensively when they're not screwing themselves up.

definitely agree. But their rank's gonna look worse for it. That doesn't really matter, but it was nice showing as a top ten pass D for a while.

Agreed. The defense played a high-powered offense, and Warner is still one of the top QB's in the league when he has weapons, which he does.

Lucas called it their rubber band defense in the post-game, which is a pretty good analogy.

A lot of good individual efforts, nonetheless, from the starters and bench ( I enjoyed seeing Gibson getting to play and creating that 5 yd. loss).

I don't know how Peppers looked on TV, but watching live at BOA, I didn't see much out of him. He got suckered badly on that end around run. He finished with three tackles and no assists.

Peppers had some pressure and played ok when they ran. He wasn't doubled much really, but wasn't really dominant against his dood- quickly anyway, as Warner got the ball out quickly mostly.

On the plus side, the run yardage, as far as stats, wasn't shit.

Still, we've played SD, NO and the Cards- which all have decent passing stats (especially with NO and the Cards being top 1 or 2 or so in pasing for the year). So, also considering the 'run' teams we've played (considering the backs we've faced), our D is not bad at all. The only thing I'd like to see is more pressure quickly off the snap and tighter short pass coverage. So far, we've been purty good at limiting big plays as a whole.
