Most were lukewarm on Austin until the last few weeks, it's a weak receiver class.

Austin is a poor man's Deshaun Jackson. He can be a nice toy for an OC to play around with, but he's not a guy who will consistantly motherfuck DBs like Steve Smith does. You really shouldn't draft that kind of player in the first round.

Hmm...this video right here impressed the hell out of me...

Ultimate Robert Woods Highlights | HD - YouTube

May not matter cause I think he's a first rounder but Woods looks damn good there.

6-1 201 4.42 40. Looks the part to me. Maybe overshadowed a bit because of Marquis Lee (beast) but he is looking like a steal to me if he makes the second. Watch him go before Patterson.

Pretty deep class though, and if you like Patterson and Austin a good class. I think Austin is a risk at that size but cannot help but get excited watching his highlights and realizing he had 198 all purpose yards a game last year. That is completely crazy. Inflated because of that Oklahoma game admittedly but 114 recs is nothing to scoff about.

I think he definitely gives you a highlight reel play every few weeks or so, but I wouldn't draft him anywhere near the 1st round. I don't view him as a starter or a core player. So I'd take him somewhere in the 4th, if you're serious about building a good football team.

It is when the very vast majority of those catches were within five yards of the line of scrimmage. They ran a ton of screens and drags.

If that is fair you HAVE to admit that Tennessee did that same exact thing with Patterson. Flacker screens, reverses, etc. He even lined up a RB.

I like everything about Patterson but he MUST run better routes and play with disipline. If he gets the mental part he'll be awesome. I think he has really good hands and obviously the body and speed.

Yeah, Im already off my Austin fling...it was nice for a day.

I'm totally back to my lust for drafting DT or OL. Sigh. It was fun while it lasted.

I'd love to fight for him because I just like fighting, whether it be debates or with bodies, but ultimately I know better, and that kinda sucks.
