I didn't say he was good, I said he was much better then King, especially cut blocking at the line. we'll be better at 3rd and 1 this year.

better blocker than King. Though that isn't saying a whole lot.

    Only reason for taking him.

He isn't a better blocker than King. He's a worse blocker than King, which is really saying something. And you don't cut block on 3rd and 1.

Kiper calls him comparable to Jay Novecek.

Says of him: "Big kid, about 6'5", and 24o pounds now, added some weight, during his career, about 219 early on, now when you look at this kid he's gotten stronger, hes got his reps up to 222 in the weightroom, very athletic with phenominal hands. Catches everything thrown his way. Adjusts well, body control, natural catching the football; I think blocking? You obviously, you sacrifice a little bit there. Jay Novecek perspective, that type of player there."

And then he goes to rag our trade for Otah again, and says we gave up too much to get him. And hes right.

If we can free up a roster spot by having our third TE long-snap, that's useful. I don't see his hands being as good as Kiper described, but I guess we'll see.

Yes, he is. I've been watching tape on him since I knew we were hot on him, also, the cut block statment and the 3rd and one statement were seperated by a period. two seperate statements.

I've seen him too, so we'll agree to disagree.
