    Just 23 and 83 isn't enough. I'd do it for 23, 83 and their '14 2nd. They probably wouldn't.

That's why I never read that site. I appreciate people posting good stuff when it appears because I'm not sifting through a pile of shit to find a gold nugget.

I think it's easy to forget about Richardson because he's the flavor of several months, and in a sense, the pick gets "boring". The fact that most mocks gives him to us means nothing. We may not even be looking at him, but it's important not to forget how good this player is.

He is a bigman who can move like the wind. He's sideline to sideline, active as fuck, and has a motor that doesn't stop. He's a penetrator, and I don't see him as a guy who once he's engaged with a G, he's done for - at all - I've seen him break blocks a lot, laterally as a matter of fact to disrupt the run game.

He has flaws, obviously, like getting taken out of plays too often, high pad level, not good enough vs. the run....and sure, his step isn't what Sylvester Williams' is, and I'd be pleased with either player, so I'm not defending any kind of position here...just trying to serve as a reminder that Sheldon Richardson is no fucking joke, and if we wind up drafting him, we've got a real player on our hands at the DL.

ANyway, here's a random vid for shits and giggles.

Roy Cummings throws out a unique scenario for the Buccaneers. He writes that there have been rumblings that the Minnesota Vikings are looking to trade up to get receiver Tavon Austin, and Minnesota has picks at Nos. 23 and 25. In theory, the Bucs could trade down with the Vikings and a pick in the mid-20s might still be something the New York Jets would take as part of a trade package for cornerback Darrelle Revis.

True, but I've been saying that I don't like him since the very first time he was brought up.

The Bucs reportedly already offered the #13, but NYJ wants that plus a little more. Trading down would make their Revis offer worse instead of better.

The NYJ and Revis relationship seems pretty damaged, NYJ need to make a deal. If I'm TB I'm thinking the longer he is still a Jet the more the price will drop. Wait until the 11th hour and see.

It's possible. The Jets need to stop being stubborn and sign him.

24 is old for a guy just entering the league. Teams don't like older players because they've already maxed out physically and don't have the potential to get better in that respect. It's pretty overblown, though. 90% of the improvement a guy makes from college will be mental anyway. Who was that Texans DT drafted out of Louisville at 19 or something? He sucked.
