    "Gettleman also announced that guard Edmund Kugbila will have back surgery in August and miss the entire season. The 2013 fourth-round pick missed his rookie season because of a knee injury and his absence exposes a few more ribs on an already thin offensive line."

    Some Panthers fans dismiss criticism of Gettleman by saying that we always bitch about our general managers, neglecting the fact that this franchise has had a spectacular run of really shitty ones.

    At the end of the season I had that "boy it's going to be a LOOOOONG off season. Now with the season approaching it's more "who gives a shit". Hadn't had that end of season excitement in a while. Thanks Gman for fucking it up for me BIG TIME. :banghead:

    The left tackle situation is beyond bizarre. You could just call it incompetent, but it's fucking weird as shit not to have a real left tackle on your roster. It's like going to play golf and leaving your three of your clubs at home on purpose.

    Bakhtiari update #2: He's been even better in his second season, as the Packers have improved to the point that PFF has them as the league's best pass blocking line.
