lack of attitude. Jake finally regained some today, but that didn't help the defense... and Chris Gamble's new nickname is "human valium". Has that guy ever been excited in his life?

Injuries. How many big injuries did the Panthers have last year compared to this year? Losing guys like Davis, Smith and Nelson have really hurt the offense. Throw in injuries on defense to Fields, Buckner and Jenkins. You lose your best running back, true home run reciever then a valuable lineman that was expected to start and your offense will struggle. On defense the loss of the two starting defensive tackles and middle linebacker hurt this team against stopping the run and getting pressure on the QB.

it started in the super bowl, we aren't stopping the run. coupled with needless and costly penalties.

I felt that the Eagles could have made it a better game running on us in the NFCG and was happy they didn't stick with it. We only dominated NY and Detroit last year, both bad teams.

the biggest difference from last year to this year is that we could sell Pep and Jenks autographs on e-bay last year and now they're just shit paper with a name on them.

Right. We had 3 DTs who played 95% of the time last year. They're all hurt. Burton is gone. Buckner didn't play today, and has been playing hurt. Jenks is playing hurt. Everything on the run D starts with the DTs. If they get ripped through, it changes everything for the back 7.
