is what our defense is...I am kind of tired of hearing about how great or front four is

That is why I said they are average. Still they did not play up to any of our expectations in my opinion. Yes, I agree our offense sucks.

I think 2-6 is trying to say that if the Panthers won with the kind of game the defense played today, we probably aren't arguing about how good our defense is.

As stout as our D can be, it would be nice if we could get a turnover or an int. every once in awhile. Seems like turnovers helped kick our O into gear at times last year.

Our defense right now seems to be lacking a leader. By leader I mean emotional play maker, someone has got to step up and make some plays. They look like they are simply going through the motions. I think Del Rio gave the D a lot of emotion when he was here, last year we had the emotion from Fields and Mills.

All that being said they played ok today, but we needed more.

IMO, we miss Del Rio...This defense lacks imagination and creativity. Trgrovic (however you spell it) is as conservative as Fox (who is waaaayy overrated as a head coach). Henning is just a MORON (see Wienke as 3rd string QB). I can prove he's a moron every time he calls a play to have Moose run the reverse...WTF???

We are a conservative minded (hope we pull it out in the 4th) football team. With 6 minutes to go in the 4th, down 10, on a 3rd and 1, we have Jake dropping back to pass only to get sacked. BRILLIANT, HENNING! MORON!

The reverse to Moose was a good play up until the time he fumbled it.

I disagree MM...The reverse is rarely a good play and if you're hell bent on running it, give it to a guy with speed.
