Didn't I hear something like he has won 41 games in the last 4 years? Not many teams can say that!!

Not many teams can say they went 10-6 and missed the playoffs either ;)

But he's something like 2-14 in December in those same 4 years. Wanny is a tool, plain and simple.

Coach Dave Wannstedt made it official on Wednesday that Jay Fiedler would start against the Jets this weekend, but refused to make any long-term announcement regarding the quarterback position.

Fiedler will replace A.J. Feeley, who has struggled ever since taking over at halftime of the regular season opener against Tennessee.

Wannstedt said he made the change for a couple of reasons, including Fiedler's experience and his familiarity with the Jets.

"I know I know the offense," Fiedler said. "I know I could get guys in the right position. I know I could give guys little reminders in the huddle. Not to say that A.J. wasn't doing those things.

"My knowledge of the Jets as well, and their personnel even though they do have some new schemes this year. I think I'll be ready to get the team in the right position on each play."

Wannstedt refused to speculate about whether he would be inclined to remove Fiedler if he struggles early against the Jets, saying that he believed Fiedler would do a good job.

    In other news:

-- As if the Dolphins offense didn't have enough problems, wide receiver Chris Chambers missed practice on Wednesday and he's listed as questionable for Sunday's game because of a knee injury.

-- The Dolphins signed running back Brock Forsey to replace the injured Lamar Gordon. Forsey played last season with the Chicago Bears and might suit up to back up Leonard Henry this Sunday if Sammy Morris (ankle) isn't ready to play.

-- Defensive tackle Tim Bowens' back continues to be a problem, and he already has been ruled out of Sunday's game.

-- Fullback Rob Konrad, meanwhile, practiced on Wednesday, but it's too early to say whether he'll be able to play on Sunday. -- The Dolphins signed two players to the practice squad, cornerback Vontez Duff and linebacker Renauld Williams.

Jeno wanted to be paid . So, he got his. As long as Jeno got paid thats all that matters to Jeno. Kinda like Leon on the Budweiser commerical. Don't you think that if Jeno plays on a horrible Offensive line for this contract, his value will dimish a great deal? I hope so.

This adds a little validity to what I was talking about. I found this on Foxsports.com and thought it was kinda funny:

    Plea of the week
    To: God
    From: Dave Wannstedt
Plea: Please stop this. Whatever I did, I'm sorry. Just make it stop.

Nobody — not even Steve Spurrier — deserves to go through something like this. Wannstedt has had to flip over his running back depth chart to find the names and warm bodies on the back. If the Mariana Trench is the deepest point on earth, that must be where the Dolphins found tailback Leonard Henry.
