They waived him then signed him to the practice squad.

As far as the way Collins was handled, look who was head coach. Capers is way over his head as a HC. Fine DC though.

What about other players who have left? I liked Wiggins, but I see a lot of him in Gaines. They are built very similar, and I think Gaines has a lot more potential.

Cousin is the Giants nickelback. Howard was playing pretty well, but was inactive versus the Bengals with an injury. Steussie still has his moments, but the Panthers were right in releasing him.

Miami's OL as a whole looks awful. I don't think Jeno James realized what he had around him in Carolina.

Favors is down in Jacksonville with Grant. He has a couple tackles but is a backup. We definitely upgraded by getting Brandon Short. Favors just didn't have the speed we expect out of linebackers. I was never too impressed with Grant. He is an unreal physical talent, but was just an average football player. I think Branch is a good replacement.

Some other names from the Panthers past: Casey Moore- cut from the Buc's practice squad
Dee Brown-was returning kicks for th Browns, cut this week
Walter Young-Still on the Steeler's practice squad
Rashard Anderson- still out of the league (lol, i couldn't resist)

I understand what you're trying to do with this post, but it has absolutely NOTHING what-so-ever to do with the topic of this thread.

Enlighten me oh Brainy one? Just because I believe that the Kerry Collins deal has been hashed to death, what about other players who have left?

But if you guys want to getinto a debate over who is better Collins or Delhomme, please don't let me stand in your way.

Collins had his problems, but Capers fucked us out of any trade value the way he handled it. But that wasn't his fault either. What Polin did here looks good on a resume, but he's the one that left a shit stain. Capers was just in over his head.
