    of dirty boots from Sonic Youth's Goo LP. A slicked up, cheesed up ripoff. I detest it. And if I see the Ipod commercial for it with Boner... err Bono whining 'yeh yeh yeh' again, I'm gonna put a random piece of furniture through the TV screen.

    I am ok with them, I think Bono tries to do good things, I do not own much of their stuff.

    Yes, I hate the entire band and every thing they've ever done.

    WTF is it with overgeneralizations lately? Is it a side effect of the fucked up political climate we live in?

    U2 ripped off a classic Sonic Youth song. That's bullshit. You don't rip off a band like Sonic Youth and turn it in to disposable pop trash. That's such a smack in the face of what they stand for. You would think if Bono had any intergity left he wouldn't do it. He knows who and what they are.

    U2 is probably in the top 10 of my all time favorite bands. Somewhere around number 7 or 8.

    As for what they did - I said it. They deserved to be called out for it, whether or not I like them. That's a weenie thing to do.
