    They just said they are going to look at the Panthers on Tuesday and analyze whether they think the Panthers are Superbowl-bound again and if Jake was a one-hit wonder.

    i would imagine both the early and the late sportscenters.

    This from someone calling himself/herself "TimTam."

    Furman won't suck, and they rarely have. Specifically this year, though, they have Ingles Martin, who transferred from Florida, and who is looking real, real good. Last year was a little bit of an off year (6-5), but otherwise has been in the top 25 I-AA teams for the majority of the last 20 years, and has also been in the playoffs (yeah, that thing you don't get in the I-A division) more years than not over that same time period.

    BTW, pre-season polls show Furman ranked sixth (6) in the SportsNetwork NCAA I-AA poll and Furman has been voted the preseason favorite by coaches and media to win the Southern Conference.

    The only memories I have of Fuman was when I was at Marshall and they were an annual win for the Herd. :rofl:
