I've been a diehard Miami fan since the days of Marino and I have never seen anything more depressing than what I have been reading this morning... :suicide:

You outta check out one of the Dolphin's message boards that I post on from time to time, they're really pissed...

interesting, i remember those articles about him getting pulled over, and waiting in restaurant lines, and never giving 'ricky', but using reginald or something, his real name, i.e., not using his fame for any favors whatsoever. i find it interesting that he's chillin with marley's kids, wants to keep toking, and cut his dreads. guess that just goes with his not doing what's expected. sucks for miami, but who would want to be on that team anyway. with no qb capable of taking them to the next level, ok maybe feeley could, but i doubt it, he was gonna get over ridden again this year for nothing. if he isn't into it, its the right thing to do. plus i get to tease my neighbor who is a diehard fins fan. he really does seem to have the mentality of a poet or painter, and not a running back. + he likes to :reb: :reb: a lot.

Will he donate all his money or just enough to keep him free to travel and smoke pot? Not big enough to quit until now when I have plenty of money so I can be free. Money sure makes traveling a lot easier. He does not want anybody telling him what to do. Try that with no money in your pocket. Lets see how long that money lasts with his three kids. Is he taking the kids with him on the six month journey? From espn article "Listening to Williams, who plans to travel to Asia without a return ticket, the prospect of his returning to the team appears unlikely."

I don't know exactly how he feels, but I have an idea.

If given the opportunity I would do the same thing. He is lucky in that he has unlimited funds to pursue a life where his decisions depend on nothing more than his own desires. That would be amazing to have that opportunity to do anything with in the law you wanted and answer to no one.

I envy the guy. Retired at 27 with a boat load of cash. That's my dream and I'm 31.

only problem is he doesnt have a boatload of cash..especially in nfl terms. He probably had one of the worst contracts in the history of the nfl for the caliber of player he was.

    Good for him.

Ironic, how his desire to gain anonymity will bring him more fame.

How much was he making? I never thought he was that good anyways(after coolege). Self-centered headcase.
