    Update for anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation...don't use a USB keyboard for quickrestore if your computer came with a PS/2 keyboard. It won't work unless you change your bios, but you can't do that without the PS/2 keyboard anyway. What a pain in the ass.

    It works now though.
