What a joke that turned into.

All his pressers about not needing to work much to win, after he signed a record contract at that. His first presser where he called out DAvis and said he was going to keep using him, his signing of Gators, his failures, his quitting.

All that - and he got $10 million.

Really - I'm embarrassed for the guy. He made a fool of himself.

    Snyder. Wow.

I wonder if Gibbs will break the pattern.

    That's funny, badger.

Haven't they had the 'best offseason' and been the best 'on paper' ever since Snyder took over?

Thing is, I'm not dogging the 'skins. I'm stating fact. I HOPE that Gibbs pulls them around.

We'll know in December. At least the team isn't whining, like they did with Schottenheimer, and like the Giants are with Coughlin.

But I dunno. Something about the personality of the team stinks of 'spoiled brat'. Like, they feel like they all DESERVE better. That they DESERVE to win, and waaahhh. Arrington is a good example. Snyder, too. And the rookie that got 'blinded'. And Fred Smoot.

    Waaah.

you're basing it off of a shitty coach. We have the answer now. If I'm wrong. I will stand up and say so at the end of next season. Gibbs demands respect and knows how to win. He's proven that. Snyder will always be Snyder. But Gibbs wouldn't have taken the job if Snyder was going to be around him. Gibbs is going to tell him to back the fuck up, while he fucks this pig.

    I have more to say.

    HA.

So - speaking of offseasons, If you like at things in the current state of the NFL, you could argue they had the worst offseason.

Big free agents, no draft to speak of, new coach.

How's this good? The Patriots model, as followed by the Panthers last year, seems to be the model for success in the structure of today's NFL.

Snyder has had 5 coaches. F-I-V-E. Five new systems to install.

The scary part - If they fail with Gibbs - WHO CAN THEY WIN WITH?

The Pats do it right. I said it in 2001, when they rolled over us while fans begged for Spurrier. I say it now, as I watched Hurney and company model themsleves on that franchise, as Fox joined only Lombardi and Parcells in bringing a one win team to the playoffs in 2 years.

The skins aren't doing it right. Whatever success they have, if any, will be short lived.

I hate to say it, because I like the skins. But I say it's more of the same.
