Oben out of Tampa...no big deal...

(San Diego-AP) -- The San Diego Chargers have traded a

fifth-round draft pick in 2005 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for

    journeyman left tackle Roman Oben.

Oben will be playing with his fourth team in nine seasons. He

has started 106 of 113 career games.

it will be a big deal if Deese doesn't wear well

With Sapp and Meshawn gone I won’t be able to loath the bucs quite as much as I used to but I can still wish bad for them. On that note, I don’t see Deese weathering the entire year, especially a possible post season run. Oban gave them the insurance to do without DD for a few games. They still have Coleman as interior insurance. At T all they have now is Walker. I would like to think that our D-line is the reason they went to all the trouble but in the years to come we will still have a good D-line . . . they will be scrambling on O-line again, and hopefully sooner than anyone thinks.)
