    No you're not, and no I didn't.

I'm sick and fucking tired of people claiming that Tampa was first in the East only because they play in a "weak" Division. They struggled against every team in the SE except for TWO:

Washington (who were pathetic all season) and Carolina (who were pathetic until Chairman Mo was removed from power after the Long March back in December--then they were pitiful-but-improving).

Those two teams gave Tampa the bulk of their SE Division wins--Atlanta and Roberto Luongo err Florida gave them fits.

If anything, Tampa was first in the East because of how they bent the Atlantic Division the hell over.

Monarchs, please don't preach rules to me...I have worn my Hockey USA ref shield for likely as long as you have been alive. The 'D' that hit St. Louis hit him shoulder first, and as St. Louis was blown off his feet, the stick clipped him. Ref has to make sure the stick foul wasn't the START of the contact. I wouldn't have called it, even though St. Louis was cut. And evening it up on Andreychuk's trip was only called because it was a make up....if that same hit on St Louis occurs in the 1st period, I could see where it would be called, but final minutes of game 7 in the finals? I'm sorry, but the whistle should have been pocketed at that point.

Hmmmmm you've been USA Hockey registered for 40 years?
That wasn't preaching... that was just the Fraser take on things. He's a by the book guy. They're in the NHL and if they can't control the twig, you go to the box. Stick infractions are not taken lightly.
