I just got the NFL Street and Smith...has us as a wild card and losing to Seattle in the wild-card round. Not alot of respect for a Super Bowl team.

They have Atlanta...err..I mean Mike Vick....winning the division and going to the NFC Championship.

They also rank each teams three best QBs of all time. They have Vick..only a few seasons in the league...over Bartkowski. I just don't see that.

They also have Collins over Delhomme..

    What gives?????

I don't usually pay attention to those magazines, but being mad at anyone who doesn't predict us to go a step further is futile. The trends show that it's really easy to fall from grace, and tremendously hard to get back there again. Hopefully we will - and take care of it this time - but that might not be how it goes.

Street and Smith's is full of shit. They see the Panthers with a somewhat tougher schedule and think we'll suck next year. But I don't think so.

Lots of personnel changes, pretty tough schedule...I think we're in for a bumpy ride.

I look at it this way...I know we have a tough schedule. However, in this day and age, there are no easy schedules anymore. And if you truly believe that we belonged in the Super Bowl and that it wasn't some kind of fluke...then you would be pissed off too. I know we have a great team and can be right back were we ended up last year.

As far as falling from grace....explain why New England is projected to be in the SB...why Philly is supposed to be there. Fall from grace...thats a load of horseshit. We are a team that deserves more respect than that. Much more than Atlanta. What have they done? Nothing and they are getting alot of credit for expectations.

I hearby dube thee...the Atlanta Vicks...isn't that what this is really about. He might be healthy...but last time I looked, they have NO defense.

I would actually rank Collins higher than Delhomme. I think Jake realistically can pass Kerry on that list... possibly as soon as this year, but 1 year does not a QB make. Even Jake would say that.

I agree with that. Lots of QB's have been a "flash in the pan" ala. Kurt Warner. Is he done? Is he wahshed up? Don't know. I think Jake will build on his success from last year. He has a whole year under the system and as a starter. That should lead to another good year or an even better offense. I am hopefull anyways.

Collins only had one good year here as well....

I do not take offense at the projection of us losing in the wildcard. I do tak offense at the Falcons getting so much love. They were terrible last year and Vick is only one player.
