The Rangers are in full dismantle mode -- and Brian Leetch is the latest to go. The two-time Norris Trophy winner was traded to the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, New York sent Petr Nedved to the Oilers.

I get to hate Leetch again

Leetch was probably the only one on the rag$ that I had any respect for.....
and now with the loafs, who I hate almost as much as the rag$.
King, what is the average age on the leafs, 37?
Lindros would go somewhere, if anybody would be stupid enough to take him.
Oh, wait, he gets to choose where he goes....
    Fucking baby.

Leetch should have retired with Richter. I just hope he teaches our young D some lessons.

Funny you should mention Leafs average age, I just pulled these numbers together the other day:

    20-25 -- 3 players
    25-30 -- 7 players
    30-35 -- 8 players
    35-40 -- 4 players

    Youngest - Matt Stajan 20
    Oldest - Ed Belfour 38
    Gary Roberts 37
    Joe Nieuwendyk 37
    Tom Fitgerald 35
    Alex Mogilny 35
    Tie Domi 34
    Mats Sundin 33

We got a great farm system to develop players. And since most players play til age 40, I'm not too worried about age. Now if I was a Detroit fan, I might want to start throwing Gerotal or Viagra on the ice instead of octopus.

didn't take long for me to stick a shoe in my mouth. tonight against the isles, put him on the powerplay line with sundin, roberts, mogilny and mccabe, 2/2 already in 1st period...leetch has 2 assists, one to Sundin at 7:00, one to McCabe 5 mins later.

guess leetch knows how to beat the isles though, since the rangers beat them six times this season. 3-0 leafs after 1 period.
