I don't see him being out of our price range. I don't know if we want another corner that small opposite Manning.

    WINFIELD WANTS BIG COIN

A league source tells us that cornerback Antoine Winfield is hoping to pick up a contract that will pay him $18 million over three years once free agency opens at 12:01 a.m. EST on Wednesday.

Winfield was the Bills first-round draft choice in 1999. The Bills would like to re-sign the sixth-year veteran, but they expect him to leave.

"Here’s my feeling on it," said G.M. Tom Donahoe. "When you approach somebody to talk with them about a contract and they have no interest, it’s usually a pretty good sign they want to go somewhere else.”
