    That one more fast linebacker would happen to be Fields. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Fields the quickest of all our linebackers.

    Sometimes I think you guys forget that Fields has cancer. I love the guy and want him back for our team as badly as anyone BUT he not only has to beat a potentially fatal disease he has to recuperate from the fight enough to get back in playing shape. We shouldn't be counting on him until he has beat it and the docs say he's ready for camp. I haven’t heard any official word yet that would indicate that Fields will be back on the field next season. If anyone here has seen that good news please post the link. I would love nothing more than to see that. :thumbup:

    All I've heard in reports have been that Fields should make a full recovery and return to the playing field next year. I haven't heard anything different from the news articles I've read.

    Somone posted on the board the other day that he only has one or two more treatments left.

    Of course, I was talking one more fast LB than we had this year. Yes Fields, he is probably the best overall LB we have when healthy.

    I think Vick is alot like McNabb. He is more acurate on the run than in the pocket. In the pocket they get nervous. I think keeping McNabb from running in the Championship Game was key. We can do that to Vick too albeit a little harder. A healthy Fields would help much.

    Another thing is Vicks tendancies to do the same thing over and over. Notice that when he takes off, he tends to start left and circle back or cut back to the right. The coaches will see that. They will contain him better next year. Everyone with one strenght gets figured out in the NFL.

    teams have beat Vick..it doesn't look that hard to do if you have the right guys.

    Michael Irving and Deion Sanders caused issues and they were in a frickin dynasty...Geez guys get over the SB high long enough to see that you MAY be overestimating the problems actually felt by the team.

    I am completely relaxed I just find it hard to believe that no one will even consider that it could be scary being we already can't beat Vick...the man marches over us like Sherman over Atlanta....and if this happens we have to plan for T.O., Price, and Vck? too much pressure off of too good of players.
